Working with our architect, we have incorporated sustainable, green building elements in our renovation of this historic building. Nearly all of the original structure has been left intact. All second floor residences utilize high efficiency heat pumps for space heating and cooling, creating zero emissions at the building. Insulation was added to bring the building into compliance with the NH State Energy Code and we installed finishes and fixtures that will help to minimize the building’s carbon footprint and maximize its livability.
We have referenced the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines to incorporate accessible features, such as an elevator, roll-in showers, 36" wide interior doors and accessible kitchen workspaces and fixtures, into several of the units to accommodate tenants with disabilities.
